Barbados

This flower is known as the “Pride of Barbados”. According to local culture, the leaves of this flower, dipped in breast milk, are given to crying babies to stop them from crying. One fin fact we didn’t know before venturing to Barbados.

What we did know is that Barbadians are happy and laid back, and we looked forward to meeting them along with the beautiful coast!!

We were not disappointed.

We definitely met the happy, dancing, cultured history downtown through to the beautiful sandy beaches,

this holiday destination, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean is exactly what it is described to be – the trip of a lifetime. Offering sweet-but-spicy cuisine, free-flowing rum, and a British-style love for cricket!
