We went to Rome three times as a couple and once with parents and all times were incredible.

Let’s talk first about the Holy city (Vatican city)

What a beautiful piece of architecture lives here along with the Pope of course. Some interesting things we found out i

1. t’s the smallest City in the world with a population around only 600.

2. There’s a Latin ATM (one of our parents speaks Latin from school but he might be the last standing Latin speaker 😅)

3. It drinks more wine than anyone else in the world – well it’s said that the average Vatican resident consumes more wine per capita than any other city in the world

4. It is the only UNESCO world heritage country !!

Where else in Italy ?

If those aren’t good reasons to go to Italy – one of our favorite places with history, faith, architecture, art, romance and so much more – then here are a few more –

1. Go for the impecable artistry you’ll find in the Sistine chapel

2. Go for the incredible food and coffee

Or simply go because the whole country is art!

There’s a lot to be said for Italy especially as it’s inexpensive to go most of the year and the cities are well documented online and in various resources so much so there’s little to say more.
